Charles B. Schooler is a person who has always been excited about the journey we call life. As a child, he dreamed about the man he would become, and importantly took the necessary steps to position himself for success. The author was raised in a household that stressed the importance of education. As a result, he finished high school 10th in his graduating class, and holds the following degrees: an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Sinclair Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Marketing from Wright State University, and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University. A Doctoral degree in Sociology is his long-term educational goal.
As a business professional, the author has held decision-making positions in the automotive, clothing, and telecommunication industries. He has helped numerous multi-million dollar organizations maximize profitability as a certified Six Sigma Consultant.
As an economist, the author has extensive experience forecasting economic conditions for small businesses. He has been a contributing writer for Black Collegian. He has also collaborated with the Federal Reserve Board on increasing financial literacy in low and moderate income communities. Lastly, he created ChoiceNerd.com,
which has become a nationally recognized information source for individuals seeking knowledge on major financial decisions.
He is
also the recipient of the 2008 NAACP Image Award for Literary Youth/Teen Category for "More Than Entertainers: An Inspirational Black Career Guide Revised First Edition."
At 31 years old, the author sees his life as an evolving Hip-Hop generation success story. He is highly confident that he will reach his full potential, and make a positive impact on the lives of others. |
